ʻĀina Outreach Sessions

Mālama I Ke Kumu is honored to participate in the ʻĀina Outreach Sessions at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo. As a nonprofit rooted in the protection and perpetuation of ʻawa and ʻāina-based knowledge, we are excited to share stories, moʻolelo, and practices that strengthen the pilina (relationship) between kānaka, ʻāina, and this sacred plant medicine. Through these sessions, we invite students and community members to learn about the cultural significance of ʻawa, the importance of ethical stewardship, and the ongoing efforts to protect indigenous knowledge for future generations.
