Nā Kūpuna No ʻAwa honors the essential role of kūpuna as knowledge holders, connecting generations through the sharing of ʻawa practices, moʻolelo, and lived experience. This project creates dedicated spaces for intergenerational exchange, where kūpuna lead ʻawa ceremonies, storytelling, and hands-on guidance in cultivation and preparation. By uplifting their voices, this initiative preserves ancestral knowledge and ensures that ʻawa’s cultural, spiritual, and medicinal teachings remain strong within the community.
